Shipping Policy

A legal disclaimer

The information on this page is general guidance only, not legal advice. Every antique and vintage piece we ship is one of one, which means shipping needs can vary by item, size, and fragility. We recommend you consult a professional if you need specific legal counsel on your own shipping terms.

Shipping Policy — the basics

Every piece that leaves the warehouse already survived decades in someone else's house. Getting it to yours safely is part of the job. This policy lays out what to expect: how long it takes, what it costs, and what happens if something goes sideways along the way.

A clear policy isn't just paperwork. It's how you know your piece is in good hands from our floor to your front door.

Processing time

Small goods ship within [X business days] of purchase. Larger furniture pieces are inspected, wrapped, and crated by hand, which takes [X business days] before they leave the warehouse.

Shipping methods and costs

  • Small goods (ceramics, textiles, decor): shipped via [carrier — e.g. USPS/UPS], flat rate of [$X] or calculated at checkout.

  • Furniture and oversized pieces: shipped via white-glove freight delivery. Rates are calculated by weight, dimensions, and destination, and quoted at checkout or by request.

  • Local pickup: available for [Dallas-area / warehouse location] customers at no charge.

Domestic and international shipping

We currently ship within [the continental U.S. / specify regions]. International shipping is available on request for select pieces — contact us before purchase for a quote.

Damaged or lost items

Every piece is inspected and packed with care before it leaves us, but damage can happen in transit. If your piece arrives damaged, contact us within [X days] of delivery with photos of the item and packaging, and we'll work with you on a resolution — replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the piece.

Delays and service interruptions

Antique and vintage shipping can occasionally run into delays outside our control — weather, carrier backups, holiday volume. We'll do our best to keep you posted if your piece is running behind schedule.
